Think you look awkward in front of a camera? Think again! I’m all about creating fun, laid back settings for my clients, so you can relax and have fun knowing you’ll look natural and beautiful (not stiff or posed) in the final photos. Your job is simple: Enjoy this time with your partner, relax into the moment, and try not to cringe too hard at my lame dad jokes—trust me when I say I’ll be the goofiest one there!
I'm a total Swiftie! IYKYK
On any given weeknight, chances are you’ll find me binge watching a murder mystery docu series or curled up reading a romance novel or thriller.
The beach is my happy place. As a California girl, nothing fills my soul like sandy feet and the sound of waves crashing.
Pizza is my love language. No really, ask anyone.
I'm a pizza lovin momma of two and a new proud wife! That's right, I married my amazing husband on earth day 4-22-2023 and can now relate with all of my amazing couples on the wedding planning process. Lucky for you, I have been through it and am here to help. All booked clients receive a Wedding guide with all the tips, tricks and inspo! My husband Christian or (Mr. Sadie Mak) as I like to call him, is a huge part of Sadie Mak Photos! He is our head IT guy and deals a lot of the technological aspect of the business, as well as BTS content, and 2nd shoots most weddings. Now, back to how I fell in love with what I do. LOL. I was the little girl who carried a disposable camera around elementary school to capture my day! Eventually, I upgraded to a DSLR to document my babies milestones and somehow committed to full-time photography in 2019, and haven’t looked back a day since!
I realized this work is about so much more than a job or a single event, it’s about documenting the most important milestones in people’s lives so they can relive them again and again.
I bring creativity, professionalism, and skill to everything I do, because at the end of the day, properly honoring and celebrating you, your people, and your commitment to one another is my main priority. Oh, and I live to get emails from my clients saying, “OMG I didn’t think I could look this good!”
I am super passionate about my work. I pay attention to the small details and the big picture, both in terms of the imagery I capture and the client experience I provide each step of the way.
I don’t just want you to love your final photos—I want you to love the experience of taking them too! My sessions are fun, laid-back moments in time where you can relax, get goofy, and be yourself with your partner.
I celebrate and honor love in all its forms! I do not discriminate against anyone regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc.
You’re not afraid to get a little messy and have an outdoor adventure—ocean waves, mountain trails, forest meadows, bring it on!
You have an eye for style and love pretty details like lush florals and beautiful fonts.
You believe in the value of professional photography and are ready to invest in a professional photography experience.
You love to laugh, have fun, and don’t take life too seriously at the end of the day.

"where do I start!? Hiring Sadie for our wedding was the best decision we could have made. She not only played the role of photographer but she also did everything in her power to make our day special (even if it wasn't her job) She is so goofy and will keep everyone laughing. She is purely genuine and you can't help but love her! She was a confidant I needed and a ear to hear my frustrations. Now lets talk about the best part, HER PHOTOS. a.m.a.z.i.n.g!! She has a passion for what he does and she does it very well! I loved her attention to detail and ability to control the room!. Can not wait to work with Sadie again!"
"Sadie was so fun to work with! Amazing photos that the compliments are never ending on! I highly recommend her work for absolutely anyone. She is so dedicated to her work and her personality makes taking photos for an awkward couple like us so much better!.”
"Sadie is incredible! She was great and went the extra mile (literally) by agreeing to meet us at the top of Glacier Point in Yosemite at Sunrise on the summer solstice - longest day of the year! She made us feel plenty comfortable and included so many great shots in our gallery. We hope to share many future exciting moments with Sadie behind the lens!"
