My journey into photography began with a simple desire: to preserve the beautiful, fleeting moments of life. Over the years, this passion has evolved into a commitment to capturing the heart of every couple I work with. I believe that every love story deserves to be told in a way that is as beautiful and unique as the people living it!
I grew up carrying a digital camera with me everywhere I went, which led me to upgrade to a DLSR once I got older and had kids. I couldn’t imagine not documenting their milestones to look back on when they’re all grown up! After the first time I had my own professional photos taken, it was the feeling of getting the photos back that made the strongest impact. I remember loving how beautifully and happy I felt looking through them, and now I get to provide that very same feeling for my own clients.
When I’m not traveling all around California documenting love, you can find me exploring new places, enjoying beach trips with my husband and two kids, or soaking in the magic of a Disneyland visit. I’m a firm believer in living life to the fullest, and this zest for life translates into my work. I’m always on the lookout for those genuine smiles, loving glances, and joyful celebrations that make your day truly special.

There’s no way I could do all of this alone, nor would I want to when I’ve got this guy! Mr. Sadie Mak lovingly does all of the backend IT work and has the responsibility of making sure all your beautiful photos are safely backed up. Don’t worry, though – I don’t keep him holed up in the office! He’s also my Lead BTS Content Creator and Second Shooter, so you’ll get to see him in action on your wedding day, too.

If I’m not personally available on your date, there’s a good chance you’ll still be able to get the full Sadie Mak experience! Laura is trained by me to emulate my photography style (and I’m still the only one editing!), ensuring you receive signature Sadie Mak photos even when I'm unavailable.
