If you’re eloping in Joshua Tree, you’re gonna need somewhere to stay. Lucky for you, I’ve put together a list of the best Joshua Tree Airbnb options for your elopement! If you’re interested in booking any of these stays, I recommend reaching out as soon as possible as they can get booked pretty quickly. Let’s get into it!
1950’s Renovated Joshua Tree Homestead
This recently renovated JT homestead sits on a 2.5 acre lot and is perfect for anyone eloping in the park. It’s surrounded by government protected land so you’ll have the utmost privacy and seclusion for your elopement stay! The house is fully stocked, even complete with two sleeping bags if you want to stargaze at night. The only thing the host has noted is that in order to get to the cabin, you have to drive about 2 miles on an unpaved road.

Mojave Cabin
Okay, the outdoor shower made of recycled glass bottles is enough to make ME want to stay here! This Mojave Cabin is a 15 minute drive from the JT West Entrance and a total of 8 minutes away from JT Village. You can soak in the hot tub to wind down after your elopement, or do yoga on the patio in the morning to destress! This Joshua Tree Airbnb comes with a fully equipped kitchen, and even a Vitamix for those of you who like to make green smoothies (or margaritas).

Cottontail Cabin
This cabin is also newly renovated, and man is it beautiful. It sits on a 5 acre lot, and is 2 minutes away from JT Village and 10 minutes away from the main Joshua Tree entrance. You get 360 views of the Bartlett Mountains when you stay here, and yet again, they have a hot tub! This one bedroom, one bathroom Joshua Tree Airbnb would be perfect for a romantic getaway with you and your boo.

The Shack Attack
A reimagined 1927 cabin in North Joshua Tree. This cabin was completely rebuilt from concrete slabs and bare studs, and I have to say they did a fantastic job remodeling it. It has custom wall art, an in-floor planter, and a custom-made floor mirror in the bedroom. Like, what?? Don’t even get me started on the outdoor soaking tub area; if you book this Airbnb for your elopement, you better believe you’ll be getting some steamy outdoor tub photos from me! Although the Shack Attack is only 500 sq feet, you can’t deny the intentionality that was put into this cabin. They have a curated selection of vinyls for you to enjoy while you sip your morning coffee, complete with the most adorable kitchen you’ve ever seen.

The Aquarius House
The Aquarius House will seriously make all your retro dreams come true! This cabin has the CUTEST retro-style appliances, plus the adorable pink accents all throughout the home. You’re surrounded by tall desert willows and have the utmost protection with secure fencing all around the property. This Joshua Tree Airbnb has brand new bathroom fixtures, along with a soaking-depth bathtub. And the best part – outside you can find an 8 foot dip pool to cool off after your Joshua Tree summer elopement!

Back Haus
Hear me out: walk in shower, record player, and blackout blinds. Could this Airbnb get any better?? The Back Haus has been newly renovated within the last few years, and you can definitely tell. If that wasn’t enough, here are the services you can add on when you stay here:

- In-home yoga with an instructor
- Private in-home meditation, reiki, and sound baths
- Private chef
If you’re looking for the ultimate relaxation experience and don’t mind splurging on these amenities, this might be the lodging spot for you!

Minimalist Modern Cabin
This cabin will be unlike anything you’ve ever stayed in before. The Minimalist Modern Cabin has the best views in Yucca Valley, solely based on the clear floor to ceiling walls! You heard that right – you get a total indoor/outdoor experience when you get here. This place is completely off the grid; so much that water is brought in for guest usage. There are two other short-term rentals on this 100-acre lot, but it’s highly unlikely you’ll run into anyone during your stay.
A few things to note about this property:
- A fridge is not provided, but they do have a cooler. You’ll have to bring in your own ice as well.
- The cabin is solely powered by 12 volt solar and battery backups, so there are no in-wall outlets. They do have USB chargers to charge your phone and other devices!
- The mini-split AC is on a timer, so you can only use it between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm.
As of March 2022, the Minimalist Modern Cabin goes for $300/night.
Pink Sky Casita
There’s not a ton of information about this property on Airbnb, but don’t let that discourage you. This modern Pink Sky Casita is actually pink, which makes it all the more fun! The interior is compact and modern, but trust me, you and your newlywed will have all the space you need. There’s a secluded hot tub out back that you can use to your heart’s content, and the adobe-style fireplace is perfect for romantic late nights.

The Roadhouse Ranch
Okay, there’s a lot to cover on The Roadhouse Ranch! Let’s start with the actual home: an open concept style layout with half walls and barn doors separating the living and bedroom areas. It’s decorated with true Joshua Tree style in mind, so you’ll be immersed in all the desert vibes. Now onto what else is on this 2.5 acre property! About 150 ft away from the main house is the vintage travel trailer. This is a perfect intimate, secluded setting for you and your boo!
Behind the main house is a 5000 sq. foot adult playground with bocce ball, tetherball, horseshoes, cornole, picnic tables, and a huge firepit. If you’re having a few guests attend your Joshua Tree elopement, this is a great place to have everyone meet the next day to hang out and enjoy a meal! Plus, there’s complimentary wine on-site 😉

Village Flat
This two bedroom flat is too cute, and has room for 6 guests instead of the normal 2! The private front yard is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee with your elopement crew. The array of greenery and plant life within the Airbnb will give you the ultimate fresh, desert feel.
