I had SUCH a blast with Jennie and Tim during their Big Sur engagement session! They were looking for a ‘beach at sunset’ vibe, but couldn’t decide where to go. I knew that Pfeiffer Beach, in Big Sur, would be the perfect spot for them. We actually had to reschedule their session a few times due to Covid and all the state park closures, but J & T were so flexible and understanding.
When the beaches finally opened back up, we met at Pfeiffer and had the best time ever! I love creating a fun ambiance for my couple sessions with a custom playlist. So, before the session I had J & T send me a list of some of their favorite artists and songs, and then created a playlist for their engagement session! We spent some time listening to the playlist, chatting about our favorite artists and getting to know each other. Once the sun started to set, we got a gorgeous glow coming from Keyhole Arch. It was an amazing night! They changed into more formal outfits, and I got to work! It wasn’t hard to capture their love, they are so perfect for each other and that showed from the moment I met them.
After our beach session J & T took me out to dinner, which was the perfect end to an awesome night. I love getting some non-photo time to bond and connect with my couples! I will be photographing their wedding in June of 2022, and I cannot wait! I’m sure we’ll have a blast!
