MacArthur Place

MacArthur Place in Sonoma, CA is first up on the list of best northern California microwedding venues! This hotel & spa offers multiple different wedding packages based on the amount of guests you’re having. There are both indoor and outdoor venue spaces here at MacArthur Place, so you’ve got some options. The Inner Circle Wedding Package includes:

  • A two-night stay in deluxe accommodations for the wedding couple 
  • Ceremony location
  • Two hours of access to their manicured grounds for photos!
  • Officiant (marriage license not included)
  • Seasonally designed bouquet and/or boutonniere

The Century

If you’re looking for a modern, fun, and all-inclusive microwedding venue in northern California, definitely check out The Century. They offer so many different amenities, including wedding loans if that’s something you’d be interested in! Their venue services are curated around making your wedding day as seamless as possible. They offer two different wedding packages that are under 50 guests. 

The Civil Ceremony package

This package is for couples who want a quick ceremony and most likely want to take photos somewhere else. It includes:

  • Ceremony at The Alcove space 
  • Up to 30 guests (can upgrade to 50 guests)
  • Up to 30 minutes (can upgrade to 1 hour)
  • Day-of Coordinator
  • Pre-designed aisle & altar
  • Officiant
  • Background music 
  • Can only be booked up to 30 days in advance

Base price: $399

The Collective Wedding package

The all-inclusive microwedding package that The Century offers! It includes:

  • Up to 2 hours
  • Up to 50 guests
  • Planning partnership & day-of coordination
  • Setup & clean up 
  • Banquet team
  • Liability insurance
  • Formal seating (tables, chairs, glassware, napkins)
  • Linens
  • Background music (although hiring a DJ is recommended)
  • Bouquet Bar for cocktail hour 
  • Fruit-infused water & coffee for guests

Hans Fahden Vineyards

Hans Fahden Vineyards is a stunning winery venue located in Napa Valley, just minutes away from Downtown Calistoga. The California Wine Country is becoming one of the most popular locations to get married, so if that’s your vision, this venue should definitely be on your watchlist. Here’s what their elopement package looks like:

  • Non-denominational wedding officiant

The Barns at Cooper Molera

What’s great about The Barns at Copper Molera is that they have 3 different sister venues to choose from in Monterey, CA. Although they don’t have their pricing & packages on their website, you can find lots of other info on their website! Here are the main takeaways for their sister venues:

The Barns

As the name suggests, this is their main barn venue. If your wedding vision includes a rustic feel, then The Barns might be a good option for you!

Monterey Beach House 

Envisioning saying “I do” with your toes in the sand? They’ve got ya covered! Getting married at the Monterey Beach House will give you amazing views of the Monterey Peninsula and the sunsets are out of this world. After sunset, you can even have a bonfire and s’mores on the beach! They have both indoor and outdoor spaces for you to choose from.

Perry House Monterey

The Perry House is a mix of historic, charming, and contemporary! The gardens and bay views are enough to make anyone interested in this venue. It was recently renovated specifically with weddings in mind, so you can have your ceremony and reception in one place.

The Hastings House Garden

The Hastings House Garden is one of the most beautiful, private northern California microwedding venues. The estate is right on the edge of the Pacific Coast, making for an awesome beachfront venue. You can also utilize the gardens for both your ceremony and reception! The gardens were designed back in 1984 by Linda Montalto Patterson who has a background in the fine arts. So as you can probably guess, the gardens are definitely the star of the show. Cornerstone Sonoma

Yet again, we have two different sister venues here! Cornerstone Sonoma is a wine country marketplace that also offers a variety of different venue locations. The two main ones are:

Cornerstone Gardens 

Each venue has three different locations for each aspect of your wedding day. You’ll have your ceremony at the Lily Pond Lawn, dinner at the Wedding Garden, and dancing at the Garden Barn. 

Barn at Harrow Cellars 

This venue site offers great views of Carneros’ rolling hills, which would be a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony. You can have your ceremony right outside The Barn for the views, or you can hold it inside where you can also have your reception. Or, you can hold your reception on the Harrow Lawn that’s surrounded by vineyards! Last but not least, you can have your ceremony on the Willow Lawn, which is said to be the crowning jewel of this venue.

Bear Flag Farm

Vineyard estate, rose gardens, and homegrown fruits and veggies?? Bear Flag Farm is definitely one of the best northern California microwedding venues. It’s run by a couple named Tina & Kevin and they take so much pride in their Farm located in Winters, CA. Unfortunately they don’t have their packages & pricing listed on their website, but you can get in touch with them here
