We’re back with another set of amazing Big Sur engagement photos! This session was a little extra special (you’ll find out why below!), and as always I am so in love with how the photos turned out. But even more so, I’m so happy that Madison and Alec had a great time with good ol’ Sadie Mak. I can’t waiiittt to see them again for their wedding later on this year (**or next year?? LOL), but for now I’ll be swooning over their engagement photos!!
Big Sur Engagement Photos // M & A
If you want to make your photographer’s heart EXTRA happy, I recommend doing exactly what Madison did. She decided to reach out to me for her and Alec’s wedding before they even had a venue booked! She wanted to connect with me so we could chat all about her vision for their wedding, as well as details that she knew I could give some input on. Now I’m no wedding planner, but it always means so much when couples value my opinion because of how much experience they know I have. And trust me, I’ll never turn down an excuse to help plan your wedding with you!!
Of course it meant even more that Madison is a fellow photographer in my area and entrusted me with documenting her and Alec’s love story. I mean, is there any greater honor than photographing another photographer’s memories? When she reached out to me wanting to confirm I was available before making it official with her venue, I immediately knew we were gonna hit it off and become great friends. And guess what? That’s exactly what happened.
Fast forward to their engagement photos – Madison reached out asking for engagement session location recommendations for her and her fiancé. Of course I recommend Big Sur for their engagement photos, because it’s like my favorite place in the entire world. When the day of their session rolled around and I saw how Madison absolutely nailed their outfits (shoutout to Baltic Co. for the stunning white dress!), I knew these photos were gonna be fantastic.
