We’re back with more engagement photos at Big Sur! Alondra & Javier’s was definitely a session to remember, and I’ve been dying to share these photos with you. Today was a little different because most of the Big Sur photos I share are on the sunnier side. For these photos, we had some moody weather!
A & J’s engagement photos at Big Sur
Alondra reached out to me wanting engagement photos at Big Sur for her and her fiance. You guys already know by now that this is one of my favorite places EVER for photos! They traveled all the way from Reno to hang out with me and take some awesome pictures. This was their first time visiting Big Sur, and I loved seeing how happy their faces were! It’s always so fun when it’s a couple’s first time here, and lucky for them I’m an expert when it comes to this location.
Like I said earlier, we got some super moody weather for their session. The Central Valley can get super hot during the summer, so it was nice to visit while it was a bit cooler and more manageable. The day was extremely gorgeous and overcast! The thick layer of coastal fog that rolled in made their photos that much dreamier. But the weather wasn’t the only thing that made their day amazing! I loved Alondra and Javier right away, and not just because they laughed at all my jokes. They followed my direction without hesitation and looked absolutely amazing in the process. After some time taking photos along the rocks and cliffs, we headed down to the beach to end their session. Now like I said, it was not a warm California day! But that didn’t stop these two from jumping into the water and getting drenched by waves. Mind you, this was after the sun had already set, and it was seriously freezing cold. A & J totally didn’t care and just wanted some awesome photos. Which is exactly what they got!
