I was beyond excited to have time with Raquel and Garrett again! This is actually the third time I’ve photographed this sweet couple, and the last two times were great! Raquel is an absolute sweetheart, so when she reached out asking me to capture this sweet milestone, I was thrilled! PLUS, R & G recently got engaged, so we even snuck in a few close-ups of that pretty engagement ring. I had such a fun afternoon hanging outside with R & G, and I can’t wait to see their family grow!
Are you expecting and looking for baby announcement ideas? Here are some cute, non-cliche ways you can announce your news:
- Colored balloons- This is what R & G decided on, and it was the perfect accessory for their outdoor session. They went with a neutral outfit palette, which made the balloons pop even more!
- Baby accessories (little shoes, a onesie, a baby hat, etc.)- Baby accessories can also be a super cute way to announce your baby during a session! Have some closeups with you, your partner, and your chosen accessory for the perfect photos!
- A sonogram- I always recommend my couples bring a copy of a recent sonogram, because I love getting some photos of the ‘entire family’ together! Sonogram images are memorable, classic, and the sweetest baby announcement accessory for a session
If you already have kids and aren’t sure whether to bring them along for the new baby announcement, I recommend that you include them! R & G brought their sweet son and he truly made the session!
