Aaahhh! If you know me, you know I LOVE surprise proposals. Especially at one of my all-time favorite places: Big Sur! Kurt and Cory were no exception, and I’m so excited to share these photos with you. Please just know that if you’re ever planning a Big Sur surprise proposal, you need me there to capture it!
Kurt & Cory’s Big Sur surprise proposal
Okay you guys, I take proposals of all sorts very seriously. But when it comes to surprise ones?? I go into a different mode when it’s a surprise proposal. Kurt reached out to me a while back and told me he wanted to pop the question to his girlfriend, Cory. Can you believe he already wanted to do it in Big Sur?? It’s like it was meant to be, I’m telling you. Once we sorted out a few details, we locked in a date and started the planning process. I make sure to work out every little detail for surprise proposals so that everything can go as smoothly as possible!
For example, when Kurt told me he wanted to do it in Big Sur, I was so excited. But I also knew we would have to pay a little extra attention to detail because there is zero cell service. Now, because Big Sur is my second home, that wasn’t going to be a big issue! I know the area like the back of my hand, so he knew he could count on me not to slip up. We ironed out all of the details well in advance, so by the time the date came around, all we had to do was execute it.
The moment we had been waiting for
Their Big Sur surprise proposal turned out amazing! Cory was so surprised and happy and it was such a beautiful moment I was able to be a part of. After the proposal was captured, I took these two to my favorite beach for some photos and also got to visit Bixby Bridge It was their first time there, so it was super cool getting to show these two around my favorite place.
