Corin and Shane were SO great to work with! I absolutely loved capturing their California microwedding photos a few months ago. Corin incorporated so many small details into their big day, it really made the whole day so intimate and personal.
When Corin and Shane reached out to me, I instantly knew I wanted to photograph their wedding. I love becoming friends with my couples, and I’m so happy I became super close with Corin over the year. We connected because she’s also in the wedding industry! She does amazing hair and makeup, so when she reached out to me to be part of her big day, I was so honored and excited! We have the exact same sense of humor, so it was easy to become friends with her.
It’s always super impressive to me when couples can continue being positive and optimistic, even during all the craziness that wedding planning inevitably brings! And boy, did these two have some curveballs! Corin actually broke her leg just a few months before the wedding, and she wasn’t even sure if she was going to keep the date or postpone until she felt better. Then, they had a last-minute venue change! Corin kept a positive mindset through everything, it probably helped that she’s so used to the wedding industry and last-minute changes!
Through it all, these two had an absolutely beautiful wedding at the Harris Ranch in Coalinga, CA. The day-of, Corin surprised her soon-to-be husband by WALKING down the aisle! Shane couldn’t hold back the tears of joy as he watched his beautiful bride walking towards him. It was an incredibly emotional and beautiful moment, and I was so honored to be there capturing it for them!
I’m sure you can tell just by looking at these photos, but these two are PERFECT for each other. Their vibe and love for each other was my absolute favorite thing about their day.
