Fresno is definitely not one of the places that comes to mind when most people think of California wedding venues, but let me assure you, Fresno has some incredible wedding venues! If you’re planning your wedding this year and still looking for a venue (because let’s be honest, planning a 2022 wedding is super crazy right now), then I’d definitely recommend checking out Fresno. Don’t believe me? Well, I’m ready to prove you wrong! Here are my five favorite Fresno wedding venues, and each of them is absolutely stunning!
1. Tuscan Gardens
Located less than 30 minutes southeast of Fresno, Tuscan Gardens feels like you’ve stepped right into the Italian countryside! The wedding pavilion is situated among almond groves, grapevines, rose gardens, and lush greenery. The history of this beautiful spot is so sweet, too! The venue is opened by a landscape contractor duo who purchased it in 2003. When their daughter got engaged, they decided to build the wedding pavilion for her. Her father worked day and night to get the pavilion ready in time, and they’ve hosted hundreds of weddings ever since! Sweet, right? The family feel of this venue extends into everything they do, from their customer service to their planning assistance. I honestly don’t have enough kind things to say about this venue!
2. Wonder Valley Ranch Resort
This inclusive, award-winning Fresno wedding venue is stunning! If you’re looking for a fairytale wedding, Wonder Valley Ranch Resort is the perfect venue for you! Their lakeside wedding gazebo and lawn feel surreal, and they even have a horse-drawn carriage to bring you to the aisle! This is the perfect spot for a destination wedding, or if your guests have to travel from a distance, because they have guest rooms, suites and cottages available as well. The resort offers many customizable packages, ranging from $115-$165 per person. If you don’t want to have to worry about catering, or organizing the rehearsal dinner, they also offer add-ons for other parts of your wedding. It really is a one-stop-shop!
3. Seven Sycamores
Seven Sycamores is another beautiful family-owned venue with a lovely history! Perfect for larger wedding parties, Seven Sycamores’ two different wedding spots, The Garden and The Glass Barn, can accommodate up to 250 or 150 guests, respectively. They have both outdoor and covered options, so you’re prepared for any kind of weather! While the venue doesn’t have extensive accommodations on-site, they do have a small cottage available for up to 10 guests, perfect if you and your wedding party want to stay the night before or after the big day!
4. Evergreen Island
Located not far from Fresno, in Tulare, CA, Evergreen Island is a gorgeous, lush wedding venue getaway spot perfect for my outdoors-y couples. While they don’t have an indoor option, Fresno’s weather is pretty consistent so rain is rare! This venue is also perfect for larger wedding parties- they can accommodate up to 400 guests! Plus, their in-house catering and decor rentals are amazing! I love Evergreen Island because it feels both roomy and secluded at the same time, and has so many different areas for photos, whether you’re going for a forest fairy vibe or an elegant garden party vibe!
5. Springville Ranch
Although Springville Ranch is a bit further, about 90 mins, away from Fresno, the drive is WORTH IT! This 14-acre ranch is tucked into the western Sierra Mountain foothills and feels like a beautiful, romantic getaway. With a minimum guest occupancy of 25 and a maximum of 660, this venue truly is perfect for any wedding party size! Their gorgeous white barn is a perfect photo backdrop. Plus, they have ponds, fountains, bridges, and more, so no matter what style of wedding you want, you can have it here!
